Financial Guidance Built on Connection and Clarity.

Steve Hough, CFP®

Regional Vice President & Wealth Advisor

For Steve Hough, being a financial advisor is about building meaningful connections with the individuals, families, and business owners he serves. He enjoys partnering with clients through life’s many transitions and helping them navigate financial decisions with clarity, communication, and a structured planning approach.

Working with clients to understand where they are and where they want to be is what I enjoy most.  Being there to support a client through all of their life events is a responsibility that means the world to me. The moments shared, through the joyous times and the challenging ones are a constant reminder that I am doing what I love.

Steve understands that financial matters can feel complex and, at times, overwhelming. His role is to help organize information, define priorities, and design a thoughtful strategy that is aligned with each client’s goals and circumstances.

Steve believes that financial planning should be accessible to anyone who wants it. His approach centers on meeting people where they are and helping them think through decisions in a way that aligns with their goals.

We are here for those that want help; it is not a specific net worth, job title or age. Financial planning can be valuable at many stages. Whether someone is navigating a life change, preparing for the future, or simply looking for clarity around their current situation, having a thoughtful financial conversation can make a meaningful difference.

As a lifelong learner himself, Steve places a strong emphasis on providing financial education to the clients he works with. He believes it’s important to help clients understand the reasoning and broader context behind financial decisions so they can see how each piece fits into their overall picture. Because every client views their finances through a different lens, Steve works to meet them where they are — helping organize complex information, define priorities, and explain how individual choices may influence their long-term goals. Through consistent communication and ongoing conversations, he helps clients gain confidence in their financial future and the decisions they make along the way.

When he’s not working, family is Steve’s top priority. Being a husband and watching his two sons grow up are the moments he values most. He enjoys spending time outdoors through fishing, hiking, and skiing, and can often be found watching nearly any competitive sporting event. From 2022 to 2025, Steve served as President and board member of the local soccer club, where he launched the club’s first TOPSoccer program—an initiative that provides opportunities for children with disabilities to fall in love with the game—and he continues to volunteer with the program today. Steven is also an avid reader, usually working through several books at once; primarily non-fiction.
